Neither has to do with used electronics recycling or "ewaste" directly.
First, China copper mining is such a bigger pollution story than China copper recycling. Here is ANOTHER copper mine pollution spill which is killing ANOTHER river. Some of these operations are upstream of Guiyu, by the way. Would you rather your Chinese-made electronics be made of mined copper or recycled copper?
Second, to be brief, if you do your phone book stuff electronically like I do, the last thing you need is 3 more competing telephone book deliveries. Here's a link for source reduction's sake, you can remove your delivery and reduce the number of yellow page phone books printed.
We want clean rivers with trees all up around em, not polluted rivers with the trees all cut down.
